WHY US
VCS is your partner in providing professional representation in Social Security disability claims and vocational consulting.
WHO ARE WE
Vocational Consulting Services, Inc. (VCS) was started in January 1998 due to a need for providing continuing vocational services in Southwest Montana. Initially, the business focused on offering expert witness testimony in Social Security cases as well as attorney referral cases and very little Worker's Compansation work was generated. Recently, VCS has also been concentrating on Social Security representation.
VCS provides all types of vocational consulting, including in-house or group training workshops or seminars on worker's compensation and disability management issues, and working with employers and employees to enact a disability management program for their business. One of VCS's main objectives is providing proactive approaches to worker's compensation and long-term disability, strategies for bringing injured worker's back into the workforce, completion of comprehensive job analyses, and direct, logical vocational rehabilitation; individual career and vocation counseling; and expert witness testimony.

MISSION
VCS's mission is to promote and facilitate personal, social and economic independence of disabled individuals by identifying the best vocational option for the individual.
PHILOSOPHY
VCS believes that the individual with a disability is the client, regardless of the referral source. As long as access to that individual is allowed, every effort will be made to establish rapport with all parties concerned and evaluate all pertinent information available to acknowledge the individual as the primary focus. Furhter, VCS believes that establishing work activities commensurate with the individual's abilities and taking into account interests, education, and background are the best and most healthy steps for recovery of an individual's self esteem. However, if an individual is not able to participate in work activities, assisting that person to acknowledge and accept that fact is just as worthy an endeavor. |
